Saaho: Prabhas to shoot 30-minute long chase sequence in Abu Dhabi
Baahubali Rebal Star Prabhas is
on his way to Abu Dhabi in order to shoot an extensive never-seen-before chase
sequence that will last for 30 minutes for his Bollywood debut Saaho.
The
Indian Express reports that the chase sequence with Prabhas is being shot on a
grand scale and it will involve a lot of cars, trucks and other vehicles. It is
an integral part of the narrative and has been in the planning for a while now.
The same report states
that the film’s spokesperson also confirmed the news and says, “Saaho is a
futuristic action entertainer and Abu Dhabi is the perfect location for
shooting some key chase sequences. The city’s skyscrapers make it the perfect
backdrop for our schedule, the first of which was wrapped up in Hyderabad
recently.”
Action
choreographer Kenny Bates, who has already amazed the audience with Hollywood
hits like Transformers, Mission Impossible
and Rush Hour, will be a key
part of this team. The film is simultaneously being shot in Hindi, Tamil,Malayalam
and Telugu.
The cast of Prabhas starrer Saaho has
grabbed the headlines even since the first announcement. Shraddha Kapoor will
be seen in the lead role opposite the south Indian actor. The star cast of this
film got more interesting with names like Jackie Shroff, Chunky Panday, Mahesh
Manjrekar and Tinnu Anand joining the team.
Shooting
for this high-octane futuristic action-drama started in August in Hyderabad.
The action thriller is directed by Telugu filmmaker Sujeeth Reddy. Apart
from Hyderabad, the film will be shot in Romania, Abu Dhabi and Europe. Saaho is expected to release in April
2018. The movie is being produced on a budget of Rs 150 crore.
